About the Executive Director
Basil E. Bacorn, Executive Director - Central Bradford County Chamber of Commerce
Basil E. Bacorn is our new Executive Director at the Central Bradford County Chamber of Commerce. Basil is here to help support local businesses in the area as well as organize local events for the community to enjoy.
Basil graduated from Athens Area High School and obtained an associate's degree in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Maine at Machias. He is now studying online through Drexel University to complete his B.A. in Communications.
Basil is also a former business owner as well, having owned a bookstore/giftshop in Athens, PA and a small publishing company which published the works of authors globally. Through these business experiences, success and failure has taught Basil so much about the struggles of business ownership and the challenges faced by rural businesses in a constantly changing world. Basil is thrilled to bring his combination of education and experience to the CBCCC to help it and our members thrive.
